How We Test Durability

Every object faces a tailored stress plan. Bags are seam-pulled to failure and cycled through abrasion drums. Knives are edge-tested on sisal rope, paper, and protein. Lighting is cycled at varied voltages to test driver stability.

We log outcomes and photograph wear points. Products that cannot be serviced with available parts are excluded. We prefer designs with fasteners over adhesives and those with published part lists.

Durability is not just survival; it is graceful aging. We pick finishes that patinate rather than peel.
